Dear Reader,
I am thrilled to formally introduce myself as the founder of Manifest Justice Law Corporation, a trauma-informed employment law practice dedicated to representing employees in workplace disputes. I created this firm to provide safe, strong, and straightforward legal advocacy to employees and contractors facing workplace disputes. Whether the issue involves harassment, discrimination, retaliation, or unpaid wages, I have a deep understanding of what clients experience when work becomes a source of suffering rather than security. These situations can have lasting emotional and financial consequences on survivors and their families. My primary goal is to help people recover from work-trauma by receiving adequate compensation that allows clients – and their families – to transition into their next era with dignity.
My practice is grounded in a trauma-informed approach, which means prioritizing respect, transparency, and client autonomy throughout the litigation process. I care about how your legal services are delivered, and how my clients and their surrounding families/communities recover from work-related trauma – not just how much your case is worth. Unlike most attorneys in this industry, I believe it is critical for clients to feel heard, supported, and informed – not rushed or dismissed. Instead of silencing clients and treating them as if they are incompetent, too much, or unimportant to resolving the matter, Manifest Justice Law Corporation recognizes clients as experts of their legal matters. We work with clients collaboratively, seeking holistic resolutions, and inviting input from the people we represent as if they were an integral part of our legal advocacy team.
Manifest Justice Law Corporation focuses exclusively on employees and contractors. I represent workers – the people who are the backbone of society – and I am deeply committed to holding predators and predator-protectors accountable for their actions.
Before opening my firm, I gained experience navigating complex interpersonal legal disputes and saw firsthand how intimidating the legal system can feel for individuals. My approach to representing survivors is shaped not only by legal training, but by lived experience and community-based work. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with survivors of workplace harm, including individuals who have experienced sexual violence, domesitc violence, and intersectional identity-based discrimination. Before attending law school, I spent years providing community support services to survivors of crime. I have provided emergency counseling services to survivors and their families, traveled to public schools and juvenile facilities throughout the Bay Area to educate youth about interpersonal violence, and supported family members and friends who were experiencing traumatic workplace disputes. In recognition of this work, I was honored to receive the San Mateo County Women of Courage Award in 2021. Soon after receiving this award, I became a plaintiff in my own employment litigation while I was still just a student in law school.
These experiences shaped how I practice law today: with diligence, empathy, candor, and a strong commitment to financial freedom. Manifest Justice Law Corporation was specifically created to be a space where safety meets strength. Our goal is to pursue legal remedies while helping clients holistically move forward from workplace harassment, discrimination, and retaliation with dignity.
I welcome you to reach out for a free and confidential consultation.
Signed,
Carlie Jones, Esq.
